Chocolate Workshops in Birmingham: The art of making delicious Belgian Chocolate Truffles
Intro to Birmingham Chocolate Workshops
Chocolate Collective is delighted to be teaching fun, interactive chocolate making workshop classes in the art of Belgian chocolate truffle making.
These chocolate making courses have been running for a number of years in Manchester and Leeds and have seen many people have a pleasurable experience learning new skills and taking home beautiful chocolate truffles. We are delighted to bring our Deluxe Chocolate Workshops to Birmingham for 2017.
Our Chocolate Workshops are run at the Hotel Novotel Birmingham Centre
Situated in the heart of Birmingham City Centre in a central location amid the bars of Broad Street, the Hotel Novotel Birmingham Centre is the perfect venue to host our chocolate truffle making workshops. The facilities at the hotel are very accommodating and prior or during our chocolate making courses drinks can be obtained from the bar or coffee shop making your experience of truffle making at the Hotel Novotel Birmingham even more enjoyable.
On arrival at a Chocolate Collective workshop you will be welcomed with chocolaty goodness!!!
Our experienced Leeds chocolatier starts with a fascinating discussion about the history of chocolate and production process from bean to bar. You will then be shown how to create delicious Belgian truffles by hand from raw chocolate ingredients. Under Chocolate Collective's expert guidance you will learn how to mix, pipe, cut, shape, coat, and finally package your very own delicious Belgian truffles.
You will leave the chocolate making class with between 30 to 50 Belgian truffles to indulge in, or show off to friends and family!!
"I came to your workshop on Saturday 28th February in Manchester and I just wanted to say how much I enjoyed it. I have given the truffles to my family and they have all commented on how beautiful they were" Many thanks! Claire Hollinghurst
Also included is a live and interactive demonstration on how to temper chocolate.
The course lasts 2 to 2.5 hours and is set in a relaxed and friendly environment.

I'd just like to say a big thank you for the wonderful chocolate workshop that we attended on Saturday. We are still enjoying the lovely chocolate I brought home (thank goodness the kids do not like dark chocolate!!). I've already bought some ingredients to try making my own chocolates. Thanks for the enjoyable afternoon"
